«Playa de Formentor» is in the north of the island and approximately 20 minutes drive from the property. It is one of the legendary beaches of Mallorca. The trip to Formentor offers some of the best views on the island. After passing through the steep hills of the Serra de Tramuntana you reach this beautiful cove with extraordinary views over Alcúdia. The final spur of the Serra de Tramuntana shelters with pines and holm oaks standing close to its golden sand and crystal clear waters. At the end of the cove, in front of a small islet, is the Hotel Formentor, which preserves the prodigious beauty of the old days, a hotel frequented by many celebrities. It is well worth a day’s stay.
